Outlook always updating cached messages

Essentially, performance becomes an issue if you have more than 100,000 items per folder or 500 folders in total. The first limit will bring unhappiness to pilers while the second could make life difficult for filers.Outlook 2016 delivers more reliable search results, but it’s still not as good as I would like.

If the modification was made to Microsoft Outlook and synchronized to the mailbox before the Black Berry Enterprise Server updated the email message, there would not be a conflict as the Black Berry Enterprise Server would simply add its update to the mailbox copy of the email message. NOTE: The above recommendation of setting Process Mail Delay to a value of 45 is exclusively for testing purposes.

As it happens, I have only 135 folders in my mailbox so I’m well short of the limit.

I suspect that 135 folders are sufficient for anyone and that some of these folders could be discarded as they are long past their sell-by date.

If Hard Delete Reconciliation is enabled on the Black Berry Enterprise Server, permanently deleted email messages on Microsoft Outlook will not reconcile on the Black Berry Smartphone, since a duplicate copy still exists on the Microsoft Exchange Server.

The folder ID of conflicts folder is not part of the folder list and can cause excessive CPU usage during message moved rescans as the Black Berry Enterprise Server does not know which folder the messages in the conflicts folder are located in.
